Article 29 Working Party opens public consultation on profiling and data breach notification guidelines

Article 29 Working Party just opened public consultation on new GDPR sets of guidelines relevant to profiling, automated decisions and data breach notifications (link).

Article 29 Working Party (WP29) just published for public consultation on its website two important sets of guidelines relevant to the application of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 – so-called General Data Protection Regulation or GDPR.

In particular, those are:

  • Guidelines on Automated individual decision-making and Profiling; and
  • Guidelines on Personal data breach notification.

Public consultation will be open until 28 november 2017, it is possible to send comments and notes to the following email addresses JUST-ARTICLE29WP-SEC@ec.europa.eu and presidenceg29@cnil.fr.
